Why ingredients matter
When it comes to caring for families, what we leave out matters just as much as what we include.
Babies, sensitive skin, pregnancy and postpartum bodies can all respond differently. That’s why we create formulations that feel clear, reassuring and intentionally simple.
Our approach
We take a considered, minimalist approach to formulation. Only what is needed. Nothing more.
Each ingredient is chosen for a clear purpose, working gently with the skin to support comfort, balance and everyday use.
WHY WHAT WE LEAVE OUT MATTERS
Gentle care is built on intention, not excess. We avoid unnecessary ingredients that add little value to sensitive skin, keeping formulations calm, focused and suitable for daily use.
This includes avoiding ingredients such as parabens and harsh sulfates that do not align with our philosophy of calm, minimal formulation.
Often referred to as nature’s vernix
Often referred to as nature’s vernix, squalane is one of our most important ingredients.
Vernix is the protective layer babies are born with, helping to support the skin barrier and prevent moisture loss in the earliest moments of life.
Plant-derived squalane mirrors this function, helping to maintain hydration, support the skin barrier and protect against dryness.
